General Policy
The processing time for all made-to-order items is 1-2 weeks.

Please allow for 1-3 business days for all ready items to be shipped. 

All of Cicada instincts jewellery is 100% hand-made, processed and shipped by myself, so please be patient while I process your order. I will do my best to accommodate every situation but if you need an order by a specific date, please send an inquiry to my email cicadainstinctinquires@gmail.com. A rush surcharge might apply. 
 
Shipping Information and Policy

All orders are sent via AusPost, standard parcel post. Standard shipping in Australia should arrive in 3-10 business days. International shipping should arrive in 9-14 business days however may take longer depending on where you live.

International orders: If you would like to upgrade your shipping to express, please contact me through the contact section on the website. Additional charges will apply.

All Australian orders totally over $200AUD (not including shipping) will receive free shipping costs!

All orders totaling above $200 AUD(not including shipping) will receive free signature on delivery, this means a signature will be required to receive the parcel. This is to prevent possible theft or if something is sent to the wrong address. 

However if you would like this for an order that is under $200AUD, please contact me through the contact section on the website. Additional charges may apply. 

Every order will receive a tracking number sent to their email once the package has been processed. 

Once an item has been shipped, Cicada Instinct is not responsible for lost packages or packages damaged in transit. We will try our best to accommodate, but additional charges might apply.

If your package has been returned back us, additional charges may apply to re-ship. We will try to keep costs low as possible, and will only cover full costs if there was any mistakes on our end.

Cicada Instinct is not responsible for any incurred fees from customs, duties, or VAT. 

 

FAQ

What do I do if I ordered my jewellery in the wrong size?

If you purchase an item without measuring correctly first this may happen!

If you notice this mistake after checking out, please contact me ASAP with your order number and correct sizing information. 

If you do not notice until you receive your package, I will happily re-size your jewellery for free if you contact me within 7 days of receiving your order.

(Please note that I cannot cover all shipping costs! so please make sure you order the right size)

 What is your jewellery made from?

All of my chainmail jewellery is made from 100% stainless steel. For more information please refer to the Care and Composition section of my website. 

 

Is your bone jewellery ethical?

My bone jewellery is made in honour of the cycle of life, finding beauty even in the end.

Bone art is a very meaningful process of creation for me, so I will only ever use ethically sourced bones!

All of the bones I use for my jewellery are non-native and hand foraged. I clean and coat them in UV resin myself to enhance wearability.
