The processing time for all made-to-order items is 1-3 weeks.

Please allow for 1-3 business days for all ready items to be shipped. 

All of Cicada instincts jewellery is 100% hand-made, processed and shipped by our team of two, so please be patient while we process your order. We will do our best to accommodate every situation but if you need an order by a specific date, please send an inquiry to our email at contact@cicadainstinct.com. A rush surcharge might apply. 




Shipping Information & Policy

Please note:
Cicada Instinct is not responsible for any incurred fees from customs, duties, or VAT.
Fees can be applied to packages shipped from Australia to certain countries. Cicada instinct has no control over this. 
Fees are calculated from a percentage of the value of the package. Please email us to discuss how to reduce these costs. We will do our best to accommodate. 

REFUNDS NOT APPLICABLE IF CUSTOM DUTIES/VAT FEES ARE NOT PAID IN COUNTRY OF DESTINATION.  You will receive an invoice for re-shipment costs (we will do our best to keep them as low as possible). Read more about this below in the Return Information & Policy section. 

All orders are sent via AusPost, standard parcel post. Standard shipping in Australia should arrive in 3-10 business days. International shipping should arrive in 9-14 business days however may take longer depending on where you live.

International orders: If you would like to upgrade your shipping to express, please contact us at contact@cicadainstinct.com . Additional charges will apply.

All Australian orders totally over $150AUD (not including shipping) will receive free shipping!And any Australian order totally over $250AUD will receive free express shipping!

All orders totalling above $200 AUD(not including shipping) will receive free signature on delivery, this means a signature will be required to receive the parcel. This is to prevent possible theft or if something is sent to the wrong address. 

However if you would like this for an order that is under $200AUD, please contact us at contact@cicadainstinct.com. Additional charges may apply. 

Every order will receive a tracking number sent to their email once the package has been processed. 

Once an item has been shipped, Cicada Instinct is not responsible for lost packages or packages damaged in transit. We will try our best to accommodate, but additional charges might apply.

If your package has been returned back us, additional charges may apply to re-ship. We will try to keep costs low as possible, and will only cover full costs if there was any mistakes on our end.



Return Information & Policy

We offer full refunds within 24 hours of purchase. If 24 hours have passed since your purchase, your order will be subject to the below terms:

- If an order has been fulfilled/shipped, you will not be offered a refund of any kind.

- All refunds will be on a case-by-case basis depending on the situation and up to our discretion.
- REFUNDS NOT APPLICABLE IF CUSTOM DUTIES/VAT FEES ARE NOT PAID IN COUNTRY OF DESTINATION. If your country of destination requires customs duties and/or VAT fees to receive your package, you must pay these within the allocated time-frame. If these fees are not paid, your order will be returned to us, however refunds are not applicable in these cases. You will receive an invoice for re-shipment costs (we will do our best to keep them as low as possible). We will offer lowering the total costs of your package so that the customs duties and/or VAT fees are reduced. 
Cicada Instinct is a just a small business, thus, refunds and shipping issues can be a huge hit! Unfortunately we cannot easily refund, and we lose money every time we do (some orders have up-to a 10% transaction fee!). Please be mindful of this before your purchase and we will always do our best to help you in any way.
